Feast for Rabbits Indian Themed Vegan Dinner

Vernon’s at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa hosted a Indian themed vegan dining experience called “Feast for Rabbits.”

The weather was just perfect as we headed out to the event.

It was so exciting to collaborate with chef Riley  for an amazing Indian Vegan Menu at the sold-out event.

Had a wonderful evening with our boys who joined us for this festive Indian event.

The Feast for Rabbits Indian Vegan Event at

Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa was a huge success. Chef Riley did an outstanding job preparing the Indian menu we collaborated on.

Each dish was more scrumptious than the next from dosas, daal, chana masala, gobi, biryani, mango lassi and gulab jamoon for dessert!

Vegan Menu that Chef Riley prepared 1st course: Black Daal Beluga lentils, yoghurt, herb naan 2nd course: Chana Chaat with Vegan Paneer Chickpeas, red onion, heirloom tomato, vegan paneer 3rd course: Aloo Gobi Cauliflower, romanesco, sweet potato, crispy spiced lentils 4th course: Biryani Summer squash, parsnip, peas, sultanas, basmati rice Dessert Gulab Jamun – spiced dough in a kumquat ginger syrup, sweet mint chutney, coconut whip Cocktail pairing: Tamarind Negroni Happy Half Hour  & Mingling Dosa station with spiced potatoes, chana masala, as well as three classic chutneys (red) (green) (tamarind) Cocktails: Mango Lassi with spiced rum and a coconut whip

It was a joy to see so many familiar faces who came out to support us and meeting new friends as well. Everyone came together and enjoyed this fabulous meal of dosas, daal, chana masala, gobi, biryani, mango lassi and gulab jamoon for dessert!

Chef Riley and I thanking everyone for coming what a great collaboration.

One final picture with Alyssa and Medhavi winners of our Feast for Rabbits event ticket giveaway with chef Riley. Eat, eat, eat is all we did the entire night.

Stay tuned for the next Feast for Rabbits Events will start back in January 2019.  Stay healthy and happy during the holidays.
