1. Got married right out of high school it was an arranged marriage. Invited to be on the Oprah show on the panel for topic “Marriages in Different Cultures” that was so much FuN! This picture is not from our wedding, but another wedding that we attended wearing our traditional indian saree and sherwani.
2. We went to the west coast for our honeymoon and took the picture on the left in Catalina Island. Went back recently for our anniversary and took the picture in the same spot, sitting on the same bench!
3. We became vegan about 10 years ago because family members had many diseases. Did a lot of research on this became certified in Colin Campbell nutrition and Plant-Based cooking.
4. Moved to Florida from Chicago 6 years ago for jobs. We love the people here, year round warmth & sunshine and walks and meditation on the beach. We love to help in the community, support our local farmers and attend events and seminars to educate others on a healthy lifestyle.
5. Started our social channel Jax Vegan Couple to educate, engage and inspire people on a Whole Foods Plant-Based lifestyle. We are live on all social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter) sharing lots of recipes, tips and resources.
